Kim Dae-seong

History

According to the Samguk yusa he began Bulguksa and Seokguram in 751, but died in 774 before they were finished, and the state completed them.

Legend

Having parents in two lives, he is said to have built Bulguksa for those of this life and Seokguram for those of his previous one.
